National Arboretum, Washington DC, July 2018
Whenever I travel, I always make lists of good locations in the area I'm visiting to go take photos. Wandering around with my camera around my neck is one of my happiest of happy places, regardless of where that happens. The National Arboretum was high on my list of photography outings and, despite the hot weather, I had a great time exploring the different gardens. The iconic columns (which used to be part of the Capital Building) were cordoned off for maintenance but I still managed to get some shots of them that I really love.
